During my business trip to Abashiri, I had the pleasure of staying at the Dormy Inn, where relaxation and convenience go hand in hand. The location was fantastic-just a short stroll from both the train station and stunning views by the river, perfect for unwinding after a hectic day. The hotel's amenities were a real treat: I particularly enjoyed the natural hot spring, which was a refreshing dive after long meetings. The air-conditioned rooms were surprisingly spacious for a business hotel, equipped with all the essentials, including a kettle for those much-needed cups of tea-a nod to my habits back home in Sydney. The 24-hour front desk was especially helpful, accommodating any needs I had during my stay. Breakfast here was delightful, with a generous buffet that catered to both Western and Asian tastes, setting me up nicely for the day's adventures.
